The life of each crew member is priceless, and the most important test during training is rescuing a MOB. How to protect yourself and others from falling overboard? How to keep watching, search and recover a MOB? How to approach a MOB on sails and under the engine? How to provide first aid? We analyze and repeat each stage of the procedure many times. It's hard to measure the level of stress and emotions when our “dummy” goes overboard for the first time! But after the test, our students can approach and pick up with ease so-called “gifts of the sea” - lost fenders, caps blown off by the wind and inflatable toys of careless vacationers.
